From the start of nursing school, I knew that I wanted to go into women’s health. I grew up with a bunch of sisters, so I’m passionate about helping women. After working as an orthopedic nurse for 9 years, I’m now returning to where I originally wanted to go.

I’m excited to be transitioning from nurse to provider! I chose to become a Family Practitioner because it allows me to work with everything from pediatrics to geriatrics. I can take care of you as a whole person, not just your women’s health needs.

I love making women feel more comfortable. Women need to be taken care of outside of pregnancy! Too often women only think of their health when they get pregnant. But in reality, we need our health monitored routinely.

I have a long history with Denali, starting back in my teens when I became a patient. Dr. Adams helped my husband and I have our daughter when we experienced fertility issues several years ago. All the tests and treatments were troublesome as a patient, but the nurse in me found the process fascinating. Even back then, I thought it would be wonderful to give this gift to others. Now I want other women to feel the compassion I felt when receiving fertility care.

I was born and raised in Alaska. We’re big outdoors people; we love to camp, fish and ride our ATVs. It’s the best place to live and will always be home!
