Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN

The providers at Denali OB/GYN have been providing personalized care to Alaskans throughout every stage of their lives since 2004. Here at Denali, we strive to provide compassionate care, coupled with the latest advancements in technology to care for our patients. In office capabilities include; ultrasound, urodynamics, colposcopy, LEEP, and MonaLisa Touch laser. Hospital based care is delivered through two private hospitals with ten Labor and Delivery beds, level III NICU care, DaVinci Robotics, laparoscopy and much more!

Certified Medical Assistant
Denali OB-GYN Clinic has been providing compassionate patient centered care since 2004. Denali OB-GYN Clinic is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to work directly with patients, staff and providers, to assist in providing compassionate gynecological care to patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and record vitals
- Accurately and efficiently present patient’s reason for visit to provider
- Completely and accurately maintain patient records
- Prepare exam rooms for day’s visits/procedures
- Stock rooms
- Administer immunizations
- Triage patient phone calls
- Obtain lab/hospital reports as appropriate
- Sterilize instruments
- Assists with procedures within scope of practice
Success Factors:
- Must be thorough and dependable
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to follow directions
- Must possess excellent customer services skills
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient health records and patient account data
- Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must practice within their designated scope of practice
Experience:
- 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
- OB-GYN experience a plus

Medical Billing Specialist/Accounts Receivable
Responsibilities:
Denali OB-GYN Clinic has 9 providers and is looking for a Billing Specialist to join our 5-person billing team! You would work directly with insurance companies, patients and providers to optimize claim processing and payments. The ideal candidate will be familiar with preparing and submitting paper and electronic claims, analyzing, and resolving claim rejections, posting payments and providing excellent customer service!
Job Duties:
- Post payments
- Manage AR
- Appeal claims in a timely manner
- File secondary and tertiary claims
- Identify patient and insurance overpayments
- Answer patient billing questions
Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Insurance billing experience in a physician office
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) a plus
Success Factors:
- Dependable & thorough
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must keep current with third-party payer reimbursement policies through continuing education
- Must possess good customer services skills
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient health records and patient account data
