Full Scope Certified Nurse Midwife
Denali OB-GYN Clinic has been providing compassionate care to the women of Alaska for 20 years. We are looking for a passionate, energetic Certified Nurse Midwife to join our practice of 7 OB-GYN physicians and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives. Hospital based care is delivered through two private hospitals with the latest advances in technology and newly renovated Labor and Delivery beds. Certified Nurse Midwives work with collaborating physicians to provide personalized inpatient and outpatient care for their patients.
Duties include:
- Office based care provided four to five days per week (weekdays only) tailored to your scope of practice – women’s health, prenatal, preventative care, primary care.
- Hospital-based care includes labor management, vaginal deliveries and 1st assist for Cesarean deliveries.
- 1 overnight call shift per week
- Practice medicine within scope of licensure and training.
- Maintain patient chart by accurately documenting services provided in a timely manner.
- Code diagnosis and visits/services appropriately.
- Educate patients and family.
- Commitment to teamwork, building and maintaining professional skills and relationships in the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current Alaska licensure
- CPR Certification (BLS Healthcare provider level) preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in women’s health preferred
- Unrestricted and current DEA license

The Great Alaskan Outdoors! Denali OB-GYN Clinic offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment, with an emphasis on growth and education.
The providers at Denali OB-GYN Clinic have been providing full-scope OB-GYN care to Alaskans since 2004. We provide personalized care, coupled with the latest advances in technology.
In office capabilities include ultrasound, urodynamics, colposcopy, LEEP, and MonaLisa Touch laser.
Hospital based care is delivered through two private hospitals and a state-of-the-art surgery center. Alaska Regional Hospital (ARH) and Providence Alaska Medical Center (PAMC) offer newly renovated Labor and Delivery rooms, DaVinci Robotics and laparoscopy. PAMC offers level III NICU care. The Surgery Center of Anchorage is partially owned by physicians, accredited by the joint commission and undergoing accreditation to become a center of excellence for robotics in Anchorage, AK.
Denali OB-GYN Clinic is conveniently located in Anchorage’s U-MED District, approximately 4 minutes from PAMC, with gorgeous views of the Chugach Mountains and easy access to trails.

- 1:6 call rotation
- 5 weeks of vacation per year

Medical Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Take and record vitals
- Accurately and efficiently present patient’s reason for visit to provider
- Completely and accurately maintain patient records
- Prepare exam rooms for day’s visits/procedures
- Stock rooms
- Administer immunizations
- Triage patient phone calls
- Obtain lab/hospital reports as appropriate
- Sterilize instruments
- Assists with procedures within scope of practice

- Must be thorough and dependable
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to follow directions
- Must possess excellent customer services skills
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient health records and patient account data
- Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
